1. Who we are
Patawise Tools (tools.patawise.com) is operated by Patawise, a software studio based in Sylhet, Bangladesh ("we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal data processed through this website. You can contact us at patawise.dev@gmail.com.
This policy covers tools.patawise.com only. Other Patawise websites and apps have their own privacy policies.
2. Information you enter into the tools
Everything you type into a tool, including numbers, URLs, campaign names and ad copy, is processed by JavaScript running in your own browser. It is not transmitted to our servers and we cannot see it.
- Preferences on your device. Some tools remember settings such as your preferred currency or theme using your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
- Share links. If you use a "Share" or copy-link feature, your inputs are placed in the link's URL so the recipient sees the same values. Anyone you send the link to can see those values, and they may appear in that person's browser history. Don't put sensitive information in shared links.
3. Information collected automatically
Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the date and time. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working, and are retained for a limited period by our hosting provider.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site: for example, which pages are visited, which tools are used, the approximate country and the type of device. We don't send tool inputs to Google Analytics. Where consent is required, analytics cookies are only set after you agree. 4. Advertising
To keep the tools free, we show ads served by Google AdSense. When ads are shown:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
If you opt out of personalized ads, you may still see ads, but they will be based on general factors such as the page content rather than your browsing history.
5. Cookies and consent
Our own pages don't need cookies to work. Cookies may be set by Google Analytics and Google AdSense as described above.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent through a Google-certified consent message before advertising or analytics cookies are used. Visitors from some US states are shown options to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. You can change your choices at any time:
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies won't stop the tools from working.
6. Legal bases for processing (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
We process personal data on the following bases:
- Consent for analytics and advertising cookies where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests for server logs needed to keep the website secure and running, and for non-personalized advertising where permitted.
- Our legitimate interest in responding to you when you email us.
7. Emails you send us
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use them only to reply and to improve the site, and we don't add you to any mailing list. We delete correspondence when it's no longer needed.
8. Sharing your information
We don't sell your personal information. Data is processed by the service providers described above: our web hosting provider, and Google for analytics and advertising. These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. California and other US state residents may have the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising.
Because tool inputs never reach us, we generally hold very little data that can identify you. To exercise your rights, email patawise.dev@gmail.com. For data held by Google, you can also use your Google account settings. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Children
This website is intended for adults and business users. It is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Links to other websites
Our pages link to other websites, and ads may lead to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices change or the law requires it. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
